B2B marketplaces struggle to streamline negotiations and order management—dispersed communication channels, poor data visibility, and lack of reporting tools slow down transactions and reduce buyer-seller confidence.

Built a unified commerce platform with Pusher-powered instant messaging integrated into transaction flows, ag-Grid-backed inventory tables for real-time stock updates, and export capabilities (PDF/Excel) for audit trails and business intelligence.

Technical Decisions

Chose Redux Toolkit over lighter state libraries for predictable, scalable enterprise state—ideal for complex workflows spanning buyers, sellers, and admin. ag-Grid's virtualization and column APIs handle thousands of rows efficiently. Formik + Yup for battle-tested form validation in B2B contexts. Pusher for reliable real-time messaging without self-hosting infrastructure. Material-Tailwind provides pre-built component patterns suited to data-heavy dashboards.

Key Learnings

Mastered enterprise-level state management patterns with Redux Toolkit, gained deep expertise in ag-Grid customization (renderers, filters, side panels), and strengthened knowledge of real-time synchronization patterns. Deepened understanding of file handling, PDF generation with complex tables, and building audit-ready export workflows.
